Dear Hope Kids Clinic Family,

I hope this message finds you in healthy and full of joy. We are thrilled to share some exciting news with all of you.  Hope Kids Clinic has officially been granted non-profit status by the US government!

This significant milestone marks a new chapter in our journey and reaffirms our commitment to our mission and values. Obtaining non-profit status not only provides us with important legal and tax benefits but also opens up new opportunities for growth and impact.

Here's what you need to know about our new non-profit status:

1. Tax Deductible Donations: As a recognized non-profit organization, all donations made to Hope Kids Clinic are now tax-deductible for our generous supporters. This change will encourage more people to contribute to our clinic and help us make an even greater difference in our community.

2. Transparency and Accountability: We are now required to adhere to strict financial reporting and governance standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in all our operations. This will further strengthen the trust our supporters have in us.

3. Expanded Partnerships: Our non-profit status will make it easier for us to collaborate with other charitable organizations and foundations. This will enable us to access additional resources and support to enhance our programs and available services.

4. Impact Amplification: With non-profit status, we can pursue grant funding, which will allow us to expand our available services, reach more families, and make a more significant impact in our community. I would love to be able to hire an adult provider; this may help us do so!

We will continue to run the clinic as usual with our existing business model, focusing on quality care for our families. Transitioning to a non-profit is to help us expand and provide additional services moving forward.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have supported us throughout this journey. Your dedication, whether through donations, kind words, and general support for our small practice, has been instrumental in getting us to this point. Together, we have made this achievement possible.

Our team is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, and we are more committed than ever to our mission of providing compassionate, holistic, and collaborative health care to the community around us.

We will be celebrating this milestone in the coming weeks with a second annual open house celebrating small business Saturday, and we hope you will join us in the festivities.
